Hello and welcome! I’m Mariska, the maker behind The Cozy Collective, a small handmade home décor business based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
What started with a love of miniature houses has grown into a collection of pieces that bring a little warmth and personality to everyday spaces. I love the small details: tiny windows, textured rooftops and little villages you can arrange your own way.
Each piece is poured and finished by hand using eco gypsum, with the smooth, matte finish you’ll see throughout my collections. There are plenty of experiments along the way, and the occasional piece that doesn’t quite make it out of the mould!
I’ve recently opened the online shop, and sending out my first order was such a special moment. Thank you to everyone who has followed along, shared a post or chosen something for their home. It means so much to see this little business taking shape.
The Cozy Journal is where I’ll share more of the making process, introduce new collections and offer simple ideas for displaying and caring for your pieces.
